NGC 5907

NGC 5907 is a galaxy discovered by William Herschel. It is in Draco, around 50 million light years away. It is odd because it appears to have very few giant stars, and is composed almost entirely of dwarf stars. Messier missed it, even though he found another member of the same group, with the same brightness, NGC 5866 (M102).
